If you're looking for a wedding photographer, stop looking and just hire Daniel. Saying he did an "excellent job" doesn't even do it justice, he completely blew us away.
Daniel shot our wedding with his Sony setup, (even though I shoot with Canon) and the photos are unreal. The quality, the lighting, and the way he captured everything naturally look like something straight out of a high-end magazine. Nothing looks over-edited or fake; it’s just clean, crisp, and beautiful.
What we love most is how he captured the actual feeling of the day. Looking through the gallery, you can completely see the energy and chemistry between Jeanette and I, and he did an amazing job capturing our wedding party and guests having the best time. “We had a small wedding without any professional photography and hired Daniel to do some professional wedding photos for us in Joshua Tree. Because of the summer heat, Daniel was willing to wake up early with us and make the ~2hr drive to Joshua Tree so that we could take photos at sunrise both for the lighting and cooler weather. We had so much fun crawling around the rocks in our wedding attire and Daniel really made our efforts count.
We had not picked any particular location, but just knew that we wanted some rocks and Joshua trees to be in the background. Daniel helped us pick the perfect location and was able to get such a variety of different background elements into our photos that it seems like we spent the entire day in the national park shooting at multiple locations when it was really only about an hour of actual shooting. I think it shows just how versatile Daniel is not only behind the camera concerning the technical elements of photography, but also in choosing a location, poses, and timing in a location he had not shot before. Daniel had many ideas of his own but was also open to our suggestions and helped us optimize them to be captured on a camera. This was truly one of the best experiences I have had when working with a photographer on site.
Daniel was able to edit our photos in an incredibly quick turnaround time. His editing really made the colors of Joshua Tree come to life while keeping the attention on us as the subjects.
